Beyond anything I could’ve imagined - the site was gorgeous and had everything I needed for a relaxing, “off-grid” 3-nt solo getaway! Loved walking the paths around the pond & through the trees, seeing the white-tailed deer morning & evening, and sleeping to the sound of a thousand frogs! Only disappointment was that I arrived literally hours after the end of a week of torrential rains - the firewood & kindling never did dry out enough to have a successful fire pit any night - but that’s camping!! The Coleman stove got my food cooked & my coffee brewed, and the gorgeous solar lights all around the site meant I was able to still enjoy the nighttime outdoors. Donna & Al are fantastic hosts and I recommend this place 110%, can’t wait to come back in the spring!

The Paper Mills Pine site was perfect for our family of four. The kids (10 and 12) slept in the pop up tent. I loved the comfort of the canvas tent with a real bed, battery powered lights, and two nightstands were so convenient. Loved the quiet and privacy after a day in the Falls Trail at Ricketts Glenn. Cooking on the fire was easy as so many things are provided in the kitchen tent. Donna and Allen were great hosts and have really put care in this place.

Beautiful place to relax. It was the second time we visited Paper Mill Pines. Love the owners, they were just so helpful and kind to us. Definitely coming back again.

I loved this set up, you went off the trail to your own little glamping set up. We cooked ribs on the fire, they have the proper set up for outdoor cooking! It rained so we heard the rain from inside which was really tranquil. We saw some deer in the morning when getting up. Also we brought our golden and she loved it plenty of room for her to fetch. Thank you Donna & her husband, loved your site!

Donna and Al’s place was amazing. Totally exceeded our expectations. They had everything you could possibly want for living space, bathroom and kitchen. Our time in the woods was truly magical and so private. Absolutely loved it and would book again for longer stay.
